Best Mango Smoothie Recipe Without Yogurt
This is our favorite mango smoothie recipe without yogurt that our kids love! It’s delicious, nutritious, and so simple, and easy to make.
Mango smoothies are always a favorite in our family, especially with the kids. Mangoes are always a great add-on in smoothies because of their natural sweetness. My kids however prefer only mango smoothies without other fruits and yogurt. They just prefer to savor that mango sweetness. I don’t blame them though.
When I moved here to the States, it took me a few years to finally find the kind of mango (close to it) that I grew up with when I was in the Philippines. Believe it or not, it’s at Costco! I was so thrilled and so happy to finally find these kinds of mangoes! One package comes with 6 pieces of mangoes. I usually buy 2-3 packages of these since it doesn’t last very long in our kitchen. To get the sweet-tasting ones, pick the yellow-orange colored mangoes. Check also to see if they smell sweet. This is how you can pick the best kind! It has that great natural sweet taste.
Here’s a quick video on how to cut your mangoes.
